About the Artist

I was fortunate to have been introduced to a group of working artists in Los Angeles, specifically fine art painters doing figurative, still life, and landscape work, including some of the best artists in the field today.    One of them directed me to the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art in Van Nuys, CA.  I took classes for five years and pursued private study with Sergio Sanchez, Ignat Ignatov and Joseph Todorovitch. I also studied with Aaron Westerberg and with the late, great Glen Orbik at California Art Institute.
